A MISSION
TO MEMORIZE

FOR SHARING GOD'S GRACE

Here's how it works...

A) Start with a bible verse you have always wished to know by heart.

B) A small or medium size sign is crafted (per your preference) and you then place that sign somewhere at work, home, school... wherever you will accidentally see it several times a day.

When you see it, it's a cue for you to stop what you are doing and take 15 seconds to recite your verse, and practice it, using the Verse Card that's provided with the sign.

C) The "verse" may be quite easy to memorize. So the intent for this is for you to learn beyond the verse to capture the context of the meaning behind the verse.

D) Once you have your first, then second, then third month under your belt, you find another believer and share your first sign with them, and invite them to participate.

STEP 1

Knot or Plank?

YOUR CHOICE

Plank

This is a chunk of wood with some
visually interesting features such as
a gnarly knot, or deep growth cracks
and or dark pitch seams. It’s a pretty
amazing little chunk of art, and the
fact that no two are alike and they are
difficult to find means they can and
do take three times longer to make.

These factors are why there is a bit
of a price difference between them.

Knot

It’s much more than just an old cedar
plank from any old fence; these are sought after and cherished. They are
chosen "per the project" for their oddly
unique growth patterns and weather-
induced aging. Years of stain and varnish add to its relic appearance.

The Plank offers many more options
for size, shape and color compared to
the other hard-to-find wood knots.

STEP 2

Size of your sign

4" x 7" is just a little bit larger than your smart phone...

Use your phone as a size reference. Most of the plank and knot signs shown on this site are 6" tall x 14" wide.

STEP 3

Make em' ask...

The secondary intent of the sign is to cause someone to stop and look at it...

It's doing its job if a viewer looks at it and says:

"Hey, that's kinda cool looking but also kinda ugly... huh?
What does it mean?"

If they ask you that... how much more of an invitation to share the Gospel can you get?

STEP 4

Now...
Share Your Verse Sign!

Now, you select a fellow believer who you feel could benefit from learning 12 new verses and give them your first sign... along with the verse card for them to start memorizing.

Soon they too will be giving away their first "memorized verse sign" to their friends, or relatives or someone at work...
and suddenly, there is a trail of believers memorizing scripture and sharing their signs with other believers.

Imagine the impact this could have if a church group were to get behind this idea... Wow.

This is a very unique way to help your congregation learn bible verses while also creating an on-going tithing stream.

Study groups who seek to find a way to learn the Gospel, and recite it, will find this program very effective and fun!

As each month passes, the new believers who are "invited to memorize" by current participants will start to grow.

It won't take long before the entire congregation is memorizing scriptures!
